With all the sadness and trauma going on in the world at the moment, it is worth reflecting on the death of a very important person which almost went unnoticed. Larry La Prise, the man who wrote "The Hokey Pokey," died peacefully at age 93.

The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin. They put his left leg in. And then the trouble started.

SHUT UP! You know it's funny!

I decided to continue reading your older posts today and although I was sure I got to this one before, I don't remember it. I have to say you got to me about the Hokey Pokey guy and I was really upset about it..............for about a second!! That was all too funny and I laughed for a few. I am not sure how old you are but I am old enough to have loved and did the Hokey Pokey enough to know better than to laugh at that..they put his left leg in....hahahaha too funny

Now...did he really die? :)
